So you’re thinking of buying a new home, but the idea of having to “vet” someone who will represent your interests seems almost as harrowing as attempting online dating for the first time.

Can that Realtor really find us the perfect house in less than a week? And how do we know if we've found someone reliable? This one seems a little too slick, and that one hasn't sold any listings yet.

Then there’s me:
Matthew Minor.

Nothing complicated.

Just a meeting.

It may not be marriage, but I guarantee it will be a partnership you can trust

A house is built, but a home is made. It doesn’t live up to its potential until you make it your own.

When you and I team up to find your home, we begin with the basics so that you are knowledgeable when it’s time to negotiate with a seller.

It’s important to have a handle on budget and financing, so we’ll discuss that as we start filling the toolbox to help you build your dream. Also, we need to think about the area you’d like to call home. Are you looking for something in the cultural district, or a home that places your children in a specific school district? Are there certain features your new home must have, and others that are non-negotiables? In addition to being born and raised right here in Fort Worth, I am immersed in this community and will easily locate listings that hold promise for you. Many times, I come across homes that haven't yet hit the market and – knowing what my clients are looking for – am able to show them something that may otherwise have been a missed opportunity.

Sometimes there will be listings with the wrong color scheme or a couple of architectural glitches, and it can be hard to see that a few small changes could transform one of these into a property you’ll cherish. But I have that “second sight” – that is to say that, if potential exists, I can see beyond a flaw and help you visualize the catch waiting for you.

OK, so you’re expecting twins and there’s no way two more people can inhabit your sweet little home.

Or maybe you just got that promotion you’ve been bucking for and want to move to that area of town you've always dreamed of living in.

As your market representative, it is Job One for me to ensure that you are feeling positive about your home before we plant that “For Sale” sign on your front lawn. We’ll start with prepping and styling your home to its best advantage in an effort to help you get the best price possible. Think of it as getting ready for Prom. By the time we’re done, there will be buyers inviting you to dance.

I’m not afraid of spending my time and effort on marketing, either – and we’re not talking uploading some photos into the MLS, people. Your home will be placed in front of exactly the audience that needs to see it, fully backed by my connections, outreach and enthusiasm.
